GUOJIAO1573•Classic originates from Guojiao 1573 Cellars, the longest continuous used fermentation pits since 1573 which was also identified as the “National Key Cultural Relics”. Handcrafted with the traditional brewing technique of Luzhou Laojiao which was selected as the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage.

All distillates of GUOJIAO1573 Classic must be aged for at least 5 years in natural cave. The taste of the Baijiu is crisp, mellow, smooth with a unique lingering aroma of the cellars.

The bottle is made of crystal glass with stars on the back and wordings engraved in red and yellow, symbolizing the color of the Chinese national flag.

The overall style of the box is in akin to the shape of a traditional jade seal, where the base is decorated with 960 pentagon stars, implying the 9.6million square kilometres of China territory.

Tasting Notes: A floral nose with honey, pine resin and grilled pineapple. A velvety mouthfeel with a burst of fruit and a raisin like finish reminiscent of the best grappa.
