The natural spring water is an excellent raw material to brew Baijiu as it can strengthen the aroma and sweetness.

Flowing from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and Hengduan Mountains, the clear and pure snow water goes through the torrential Jinsha River to the upper reaches of Yangtze River, into the abundant water cycle of Luzhou. There are 76 rivers and streams distributed over Luzhou, including Yangtze River, Tuo River, Chishui River and Yongning River which provide pure, sweet and clean water with appropriate hardness.

The quality of water is directly related to the quality of wine.

In the Baijiu making industry, “water is the blood of wine”

The Longquan Well, located at the foot of Fenghuang mountain is always full of water all year round, clear and slightly sweet.

It is a mixture of groundwater and spring water from the Fenghuang Mountain and is an excellent raw material for our fine Baijiu brewing.
